D.I.B. Pictures has produced/co-executive produced 3 feature films. The company was founded by Bivás in 2004. Bivás recently completed directing his latest feature film PARANOIA. He was Co-Executive in charge of Production for DIRTY LITTLE TRICK, an independent film starring Michael Madsen and Dean Cain that played at the Cannes last year.
In 2008, Bivás was awarded the Arizona Filmmaker of the Year by the Phoenix Film Festival and named Best Local Filmmaker by the NewTimes Best of Phoenix magazine. Other acknowledgments include Best Director and Best Editor by Independent Feature Project in 2007. Directing credits include Best Film awards for REASON (2006), POUR AMOUR (2005), FIRST DATE (2004) and APT. 3157 for which he was awarded "The Most Promising Filmmaker" of 2005 at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival.
Bivás is a SAG eligible actor. He has appeared in several feature and short films. In addition to filmmaking, Bivás pursues photography. His glamour photography has been distributed for the mobile market with clients including Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. Bivás writes and composes music for films. His music can be found online on iTunes and Amazon.
Besides being a filmmaker, Bivás is a Scientist at Honeywell Aerospace. He has been involved in designing hardware and software solutions for the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
